Sometimes one of our fans sends us a picture that seems so fake- it slips under the radar. This is one of those examples submitted by “Diamond Harry”. At first glance it reminded me of the fine photo manipulation art done by Erik Johansson, only without the “Holy Crap” factor. Turns out this bizarre looking picture is actually real! It’s the Magdeburg waterbridge in Germany and is the world’s Longest Navigable Aqueduct.

The waterbridge allows ships to easily cross over the Elbe River. Low water levels in the Elbe often prevented fully loaded ships from making this crossing.
